Preserved history of Switzerland: long-standing and ancient hotels
The Swiss are very attentive to everything that represents the cultural value for the country, including the old buildings that quite often house hotels. One of the most famous examples is the mansion hotel in Saas-Fee, set in a 19th-century building. A couple of centuries ago, travelers stayed here. Today, the hotel offers all modern facilities for tourists combined with historical realism of the interiors. On the territory of Switzerland, there are several castles with hotels, where travelers can feel the life of the Middle Ages. The castle of Guetsch has 28 rooms ready for tourists. Each of the premises is furnished in a unique style, including Empire, Baroque, and Art Nouveau.
