Kitzbühel offers an interesting cultural program, which, for sure, envisages visiting unique natural attractions, historical sites and museums. For travelers who come to the city in the period from May to September it would be interesting to visit the Alpine Flower Garden. It is located in the mountains, at an altitude of 1,800 meters above sea level. At the botanical garden there are various plants and herbs that can be found during a walk through the picturesque mountain area. Many travelers prefer to climb to the top of the hill by cable car and walk back down watching natural attractions.

In the immediate vicinity of the city is the Kaps Castle (Schloss Kaps). Its construction was completed in the 17th century, but an ancient castle has perfectly preserved to this day. Next to it there is an extensive park area, in which a popular golf center is located. Nearby is another important historical site – Lebenberg that is 16th century castle and also one of the striking historical monuments of the late Middle Ages. Recently, the castle was converted into a luxury hotel, but it still continues to welcome curious travelers.

An interesting attraction is the Hinterobenau Farmhouse Museum. Museum is located in the mansion dating back over 500 years. The decor of its rooms preserved as accurately as possible; museum visitors can appreciate the household of local farmers that have lived five centuries ago. Among the religious places St Andreas Parish Church is one of the most notable. Its construction was started in 1435 and ended only in the early 16th century. Miniature building is designed in the Baroque style and has excellent refinement and luxury. Incredibly beautiful painted ceilings, frescoes and stucco dating the 15th century, the altar and the beautiful handmade sculpture – those are things that attract hundreds of people every day. Nearby is another important religious object - St Mary's Church. It was founded in the second half of the 14th century. The main decoration of the cathedral is an ancient organ.

Learn about the past of the city, get acquainted with the local culture, admire artworks by artists born in Kitzbühel, admire the magnificent views of the city from the roof - all this can be done at the Museum Kitzbühel. The museum is also attractive for its modern design; here there are many interesting exhibits - from ski models to photographs. Art connoisseurs are advised to go to the Waletowski Galerien Kitzbühel displaying works painted by local artists. Temporary thematic exhibitions are held here from time to time. At the exit from the museum, you can buy paintings you like in memory of the wonderful time spent in the city.

Among religious attractions, it's worth highlighting the Franziskaner Der Immakulata (located near the Museum Kitzbühel) famous for its spaciousness and chic interior decoration. The exterior of the monastery is quite unremarkable, however, when visitors get inside, their perception is changing - all thanks to magnificent stained glass windows, a richly decorated altar, wonderful paintings hanging on the walls of the church. Many tourists and locals love to walk around its courtyard with a cemetery where each gravestone deserves to be called a work of art.

It's worth visiting one more shrine revered by believers - Spitalskirche zum Heiligen Geist. The Gothic-style hospital church was built in 1412 by order of Stephen, Duke of Bavaria. In 1836, it was decided to redesign the building in the style of classicism that was popular at that time. Joseph Schweinster was chosen as the architect for this project. Speaking about the interior of the church, it is worth noting that it is no less striking than the one of the above mentioned Franziskaner Der Immakulata. A delightful altar, magnificent stucco, rare 15th-century sculptures - this is what can be found inside.

The Rathaus building is equally interesting from an architectural point of view. It was originally built in 1531 but became the Town Hall somewhat later. For this, and more precisely, for the convenience of the location of its premises, the reconstruction was needed, which was carried out in 1548. Next to the Town Hall, one can see a beautiful monument to Franz Reisch, a mayor of the city in 1892-93 who made Kitzbühel a ski resort. The city owes its fame to this prominent figure. It is also worth noting that throughout the city there are several interesting sculptures and fountains keeping the secrets of history, and it's a pleasure to discover them.
