Travel tips for Guadeloupe - what to prepare in advance and what to obey

1. Don’t even hope to find cheap prices, there are no cheap prices in Guadeloupe. Tourists need to be prepared to the fact that local prices may look too high – Guadeloupe is one of the most expensive countries of the Caribbean.
2. Don’t try to visit anything on Sunday as you are most likely to find closed doors. This applies to entertainment centers and shops. Markets are the exception.
3. Don’t forget about safety measures in water. It is better to try scuba diving in a group or together with an instructor. In other cases, it is better to swim in the beach areas. 4. Do not touch marine creatures with bare hands. A dangerous species of Physalia lives in the Caribbean. It is known as the Portuguese man o' war because of its color. Touching this Physalia will cause dangerous burns.
5. It is better to protect oneself and get vaccines against typhus and poliomyelitis.

Preferred to Open 9 New Hotels in 2022

In September 2022, the Sommerro hotel in Oslo will start operating in a carefully restored 1930s Art Deco building.
