Another mystical place in Cologne is called Trinitatiskirche. This Protestant church guarantees you a feeling of extraordinary reverence for something majestic. A cursory glance at the Hohenzollern Bridge conjures up similar emotions. This bridge, famous for its majesty, is surrounded by a composition of many castles. It is no wonder that the place is popular among couples in love. However, the street on which is located one more symbol of Cologne, Gross St. Martin, is another favorite place for romantics. Beautiful European style houses reinforce the romantic atmosphere, as well as the cathedral itself, being a majestic embodiment of European architecture.
A slightly unusual building for a European city can be found on Venloer Strasse. This is the Zentralmoschee. Built in a modern style, the mosque attracts not only Muslims, but also lovers of beautiful architectural structures. By the way, this is the biggest mosque in Europe. There are a few monuments in the city which brings to mind the Roman times in its history. One of them is Römerturm, a tower built in 50 AD. Yet another example of the Roman architecture is Römisches Nordtor. It is a completely different experience admiring it, and getting a firm grasp that they are more than a thousand years old.
