The old homestead of Winston Churchill, which is located in the small British town of Chartwell, is now accessible to all visitors. The farm is of great architectural value, besides, the farmhouse preserves many unique historical artefacts and personal belongings of the great politician. The unchanging form has been preserved in the painting studio, in which Churchill loved to spend time. In the magnificent court, the politician spent the last 40 years of his life and personally cares for the good condition of the establishment and the adjacent territory.
The farmhouse is located in the incredibly beautiful area, next to the large lake, and is surrounded by the large landscape park. When the politician lived with his wife in the house, she personally chose the plants for the park. In the picturesque garden, Churchill could stand for hours in front of the easel, inspiring the inspiration and enjoying the fragrant peonies, lilies, azaleas and mint. Despite the high status of the former owner, the interior of the old house is quite simple and incredibly comfortable.
