Hemsedal is a popular alpine ski destination in Norway that is widely known and visited by tourists from all over the world. The resort can be reached by regular flights by Norwegian Airlines; during winter season smaller airlines even organize charter flights to Hemsedal. This year the hotels in Hemsedal forecast even more tourists than ever as they have launched “all included” service.
According to Rata-news, the program includes breakfast, dinner, launch and a ski pass. This system has appeared not in some particular hotel in Hemsedal, but in whole resort in general. Tourists can select the type of accommodation on their own – they can book a hotel room or select an apartment for a group of people. The package costs 2990 Norwegian krones (around US $500).
“All included” program can be booked on the resort’s website while making a reservation from January to April 2011. All tourists can also book regular package and pay for specified services only. 1-day ski pass costs 355 krones (44.5 Euro) and 1-week pass costs 1630 krones (204.5 Euro) per 1 person. Kids under 6 ski for free.
Hemsedal resort is located 220 kilometers away from Oslo. This is a large alpine ski resort where are organized several laps of giant slalom World Cup. This region is often called the Scandinavian Alps and is widely known for either family or couples rest. The ski season usually lasts up to the end of April or May.
