New Pipeline Hotel Will Become a Tallest Building in Austria

The top-management staff of the renowned Sol Media hospitality group and local authorities took part in a foundation stone-laying ceremony of a new ME Vienna hotel. The hotel is supposed to become the tallest building in Austria. The 220-meter high 60-story new hotel in Vienna will feature 225 rooms offering spectacular views of the Dunai River.

Andre Gerondeau, Sol Media's general manager, confirms that it is a great honor for the company to be part of a project aimed at creating a new landmark object in Vienna that is supposed to become an attraction for visitors from around the world.

This pipeline hotel will join the group of top five ME hotels of the Melia collection and will be the first property to represent the brand in Austria - caribbeannewsdigital.com reports. Currently, Sol Melia is the largest chain of hotels in Spain, its portfolio comprising 313 properties in 27 countries with service staff amounting to 35,000 employees.
