HVS reports a major drop in hotel transactions

News According to Amy Beam, HVS director of hotel booking transactions, the number of transactions in 2009 dropped 83% compared to 2007. This is the most significant lowering over the past 20 years, as the survey includes hotel sales price trends since the early 1990s. In the luxury hotel categories, price per room showed the same lowering tendency.
