One of the most famous symbols of the Big Apple is Central Park, which is definitely good enough to be termed a must-see place for every tourist who comes here. The park is super popular among the tourists, that is why it is more interesting as a sightseeing spot, rather than as a place isolated from the world hustle and bustle. Movie enthusiasts will be pleased with the fact that many popular films were shot here, like “Devil’s Advocate”, “Vanilla Sky”, “Cruel Intentions”, “Enchanted”, and “Sex and the City”. Another place that movie lovers will find interesting is the house at the corner of Grove street and Bedford street – it often flashed on the screen during the showcase of the series “Friends”.
If you look at the Astro-View observation platforms, you will remember the final footage from the “Men in Black”. They were built in the year 1964. Today, the site is abandoned, and unfortunately, because of this, it will not be possible to go upstairs, but you can enjoy the beautiful view of the abandoned building. The New York Public Library is one of the most popular venues for shooting movies (“Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, “Spider Man”, “The Time Machine”, “The Day After Tomorrow” were shot here) – a must-visit place, interesting from an architectural point of view, amazing with its majesty. It would be fascinating to know that you can visit it for free.
