Shopping facilities: Shops can be found in both terminals, and include newsagents, a gift shop and a perfumery. There is also a duty-free shop in the International Departure area of Terminal A. Bordeaux's history began ages ago. First there was an ancient settlement between the two rivers. The place where the city grew was named Port de la Lune. The city was poor before the extreme economical growth in 1830-ies. The international trade made the city wealthy so the governors decided to rebuild the city. The old buildings were ruined and large new constructions were built. The city had its face changed.
