Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has announced SPG Free Weekends promotion action. A three-night stay at a Starwood hotel will entitle a tourist to a free weekend night stay.
All participants of the Starwood Preferred Guest program planning at least three stays within the period from May 1 through July 31, 2010, will enjoy a free weekend night stay. There are no limits to free night earnings, so travelers can collect several free nights to make up a longer stay.
SPG members can take up their awards between May 7 and December 19, 2010 on any Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday at more than 920 Starwood properties across all nine world brands, including , St. Regis, Aloft, Westin and Sheraton, and the SPG no-blackout strategy is still valid. Should there be an empty room available at your hotel, it’s yours.
According to Chris Holdren, senior vice president of SPG, this is “just another example of a value-rich promotion that resonates with our most loyal guests, inviting them to unwind and relax at one of our many high-caliber hotels and resorts across the globe”. He also noted the numerous benefits and awards for guests, so that they can have a big time they put up at Starwood hotels with their loved ones and friends.
