The cultural calendar of Bourgogne is full of various holidays. We can say without a doubt that there celebration on every event. Travelers that are fond of noisy social events would find interesting to visit the town of Chalon-sur-Saone. The colorful festival of street culture, Chalon dans la Rue, is held there in the second half of July. In the last few years it has gained status of a major international event. The festival is attended by street performers and artists, musicians and acrobats. You could watch spectacular performances right on city streets.
